Original BioMedical is primarily engaged in the development of new drugs that do not involve new ingredients, with a focus on new dosage forms, new dosages, and new indications in drug delivery systems. This technology platform can be applied to various active pharmaceutical ingredients to adjust the drug's half-life, enhance efficacy, and reduce side effects. The strategy of repurposing old drugs not only shortens development time but also allows many near-failure drugs to regain their value. Our development process includes the following main steps: drug development begins with laboratory synthesis and purification, followed by PIC/S or cGMP manufacturing, preclinical trials, clinical trials, and finally applying for market approval. We currently focus on new drug development and have a complete laboratory with various analytical instruments. We can conduct research and development, including laboratory-scale synthesis, purification, method development, and dosage form development. We also have a preclinical department and veterinarians who can perform initial safety and efficacy tests. The formal preclinical and clinical trial production and manufacturing need to be entrusted to cGMP-certified manufacturing plants, which carry out drug production in accordance with cGMP.
